On January 29th Ambassador Andranik Hovhannisyan, Permanent Representative of Armenia at the International Organizations in Geneva met with Mr. Guy Ryder, Director-General of the International Labor Organization.

During the meeting, the parties highlighted the importance of The Decent Work Country Programme for 2019-2023 which was signed in Yerevan in May 2019 and touched upon various aspects of cooperation within the framework of ILO.

Ambassador A. Hovhannisyan elaborated on the recent economic reforms in Armenia and on the efforts of the Government in the social sphere.

A. Hovhannisyan and G. Ryder also discussed issues regarding the enhancement of the cooperation between Armenia and ILO.
